Terry Schmidt

Program Manager

Terry Schmidt is a Program Manager at Iris Technology Corporation managing multi-disciplinary design teams, program schedules and budgets. Terry has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry, electro-mechanical machine tool industry and international semiconductor and product printing industry. He has acquired an expertise in the procurement of traceable aerospace electronic parts, PWB layout, PWB fabrication and assembly processes.

In addition to Terry’s experience in electrical engineering, he has a background in software engineering and mechanical design. He has written many embedded control programs in C, C++, and Visual Basic and designed handling systems and motion control and robotic systems.

Terry is Professor Emeritus of Keene State College in New Hampshire where he was Professor of Electronics for 26 years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and a Master’s degree in Electronics and Vocational/Technical Education, both from the University of Wisconsin.
