Iris Technology Names Dr. Carl Kirkconnell As Chief Technology Officer

Iris Technology, an Irvine, CA-based defense contractor specializing in military power systems and space electronics, has appointed Dr. Carl S. Kirkconnell as Chief Technology Officer. Iris Technology has seen annual revenue growth of 50 percent per year for the last five years. Kirkconnell will be responsible for sustaining this growth and advancing Iris’ presence in these business sectors.

Kirkconnell is recognized internationally as an expert in spacecraft thermal control systems and has an esteemed record of innovation in the field, having been awarded eight U.S. patents and six pending in the area of cryogenic refrigerator design.
